This Springfield Armory manufactured upper (shorter) bridle screw measures approximately .590" in length and is for the trapdoor rifle and carbine in 45-70 Govt. caliber. This shorter bridle screw is in very good condition exhibiting a grayish brown patina with light slot wear. (file photo)
